About Us

Welcome to PCHA

The Phil Campbell Housing Authority operates according to our mission to provide assistance to low-income individuals and families, working and non-working people, and people with both physical and mental disabilities, in Phil Campbell, AL and surrounding areas by offering Public Housing and Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers. Our mission is to ensure all families have access to healthy, safe, and affordable housing. The PCHA provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities. We aim to improve the quality of life for all residents in our 62 public housing units located in Phil Campbell, as well as 56 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers that may be used in the town of Phil Campbell and surrounding areas within our jurisdiction. Eligibility is based on gross income, family composition, and U.S. Citizenship or eligible immigration status. To determine eligibility, we use standards that are set every year by HUD and standards that are unique to our area based on family size.
